I went to Disneyland last August..which i guess wasnt the best time to go...especially on the weekend. It was SOOOOO crowded...(disneyland park, not DCA) I did get to do a lot though. At night..it was shoulder-to-shoulder people all around you. But other than that..i really enjoyed disneyland. i LOVE their fantasyland! I also liked how the monorails have open windows and how they have a really neat track that winds all around tommrowland. i also love the feeling that Walt Disney himself walked those paths, and rode some of those attractions. :)

No one flew off of Xcelerator. Its closure stems from a death on Superman: RIDE OF STEEL at Six Flags New England, which was believed to be the result of a restraint system similar to that used on Xcelerator. Xcelerator has since then reopened with only slight modifications, including little lights on the side of the car that turn green when the restraint is low enough.

Its been quite a few years since my last visit to DL (I believe 1996 or 1997), so we haven't seen CA or anything other than the original park.

My favorites were the Matterhorn and Splash, although nothing beats IASW. I was disappointed seeing it at MK after seeing it at DL. The topiaries, the clock and outside loading...I was hoping that when MK announced the refurbishment of IASW in MK that it would mean making some changes to make it more like DL's but doesn't sound like that will be the case.

So Mr Toad is still there? I guess I assumed that changed at both locations. Wasn't the treehouse changed to Tarzan's treehouse? Is the Tiki room under new management in DL also, or is it still the wonderful classic?

I would love to make a trip to DL again...maybe next year...

The Tiki Room isn't under new management at DL, but it is closing for a long rehab to fix it up as the roof and the AAs are in pretty bad shape. There isn't supposed to be any changes done to it.

Tarzan did invade the Swiss Family Robinson tree a few years ago. I like both of the different Treehouses, but miss the chain of cups that scoop up water.

Mr. Toad is still there and is such a classic that I don't think they would change it. It is pretty popular.
