I think they're ugly. They also make everything into one of those squat ugly dolls. I don't think I've ever seen a company monopolize pop culture industry merchandise like this.

I think that is my issue with them, They look ugly, they have giant heads, small bodies, and just lifeless black eyes and square heads and sometimes don't even look like the characters they are portraying. I don't get what you do with them. Am I supposed to display them?

I have several displayed at home, and some at school. I think they’re a nice small way to display my fandom of some pop culture. I would say that if Disney created “inexpensive” small statues/figurines of their attractions or characters from the parks that I would have gravitated towards that product line. They’re just fulfilling a missing Disney hole in my heart 😅 but to each their own, I am sure most of us have different favorites at the park, but we all love the park at the end of the day.

I did get a new pop delivered during this conversation 😄

This is exactly how I feel. It’s not the soulless black eyes I’m drawn to although I do think some of the designs are great. It’s the fact that I’m able to to get figures of the ride vehicles and their characters. It also helps that a good majority of Park POPs are not people as I think non humans look best in the POP line.

Fair enough I guess. To each their own. I get people who collect stuff but for me, personally, nothing from Funko Pop is anything worth collecting. I have gotten some as gifts and they are either buried somewhere in my closet or i sold them so i can get myself something I would actually like. They look ugly to me. I find no charm, whimsy, or anything comical about them or creative or timeless.

I gotta say that steamboat willie, not the funko pop mickey wit the wheel , but the actual ship with minnie and mickey on it is cool and collectable. Is that a Funko pop because that does not look like it?

It is a LEGO set that came out last year. I believe it is still for sale on the LEGO website. It was a fun set to put together.

What if they did a ramp series? Falcon, Vader’s shuttle, Republic Venator, Padmes Nubian, Quinjet, Guardians of the galaxy Benatar, and any other ship name they google
