Agreed. The plans for the WDW Mediterranean hotel would make a cool entrance/in-park hotel for the myth park.
In fact, I think that Greek mythology would make a great entrance land for a myth park in general. The hotel could be a natural "curtain" wrapping around one side of the plaza, with a New Orleans Square-style complex on the other. I think a Pirates of the Caribbean layout and ride system would be a great way to showcase some Greek myths. You could load in a bog, float past a hydra (who could start with only one head out of the water, and then lunge out 8 others as you float past as a fun gag), then past the in-ride restaurant and down the drop to the Underworld, where there could be a lot of animatronic monsters, and finally to a party at Mount Olympus during the town portions. It could be a great way to showcase a lot of Greek gods without giving every single one a ride.Agreed.
I don’t know about anyone else, but sure
Can I join in too?
Since DCA is apparently going to accomodate the Avatar event, perhaps it would be wise to go with an alternate park.
I'd love to!@Earlie the Pearlie you got some good ideas for the myth park, would you like to work on it
very good, you could help with parts of the myth park. I admit that I’m not very good with myths outside of the US, but I pride myself on being good with layouts, I also will give my input on myths that I do know.I'd love to!
If we do this, I may add the Asian, Venetian, and Persian (now called Arabian) to WESTCOT's Thailand, Italy, and Saudi Arabia pavilions. The plans for the WDW Mediterranean hotel would make a cool entrance/in-park hotel for the myth park.
Westcot was always our Downtown Disney equivalent.Okay, now I’m just getting confused. We need to set our parks straight. Are we doing westcot or DCA as the 2nd gate.
