Hello all, during my visit to WDW this year the Disneyana convention will begin during the last few days of my stay.My question is,How does the convention affect the crowds in the parks etc. Is it a very large convention? Also, is it worth attending for a few hours if admission is free? Any feedback will be apppreciated:wave:

I've never done the convention, but I've looked in to it. I know you can buy cool stuff at the Contemp that week- it all sells fast. And the last day is open to the public, for a fee(?). The web site is under construction at disney.com- search for disneyana. I'm trying to find out more, myself.

If you're a fan with a whole lot of Disney stuff in your home, i'd suggest attending the convention. There's plenty of Disney park stuff on sale and there's plenty to see! After all this is the hard core Disney fan convention. :D
As for this year's convention...I think they're holding it in Epcot where the old Mill Vill used to be. I think it was another one of the cut backs things. I'm not 100% sure if this is true but just wait till the FT cast members tell you. :)
