Most "die hard" Disney fans would think the very same way if they went to Uni for a few days. It is lively, progressive, immersive, clean, friendly, and in most ways ahead of Disney. IMO, you also get more bang for your buck when it comes to the on site hotels. I grew up Disney, it will forever hold a place in my heart, but my family, for now, prefers UOR. Trying to figure out how to get DH to take us in September (even though we were there in July and this month). :inlove:


Good luck with your hopeful September trip. I'm trying to talk my wife into letting me do a "father/son" short trip to Disney in October.

I have been to Universal twice and Disney somewhere around 20. I love DTD because my opinion is the family friendly feel. I also like the shops and restaurants. But Disney does have an advantage because I have been going there since I was in Preschool.
