Wish they would update the park maps though. AK's one has got be like 3 years old.

And for the main page of each theme park, why does every park have it's "motto" except AK which I know is "Adventure Awaits".
MK has Fantasy Reigns, Epcot has Discover the Wonder, and MGM has Where Showbiz is. Why does AK not have its except a "A True Disney Adventure"???

I don't understand why they play music from Rudy on the opening page of the site when it isn't even a Disney movie. I'm not positive its from Rudy but it sounds really similar.

There are a lot of things I don't understand. First they take out the Christmas theme, put it back, take it out, then put it back again?

If it was me, I would put every last detail into everything and make sure it's perfect.

I am not sure if it is the Rudy song, but don't think it is (could be wrong though). They have been using this song for the 50th commercials when they are for WDW.

It's not just their outdated or incorrect info, its sometimes their lack of info. When I went over the summer, we were staying at Pop Century. All the official website offeres you is one paragraph and a picture. Allearsnet, LaughingPlace, This site, and many others provided much much more. I consider Allearsnet more of the official site then theirs.
My other complaint about the site is the search engine. It just plain sucks. You never come out with an answer, I'd just as soon use google. For example, on the Disney Channel, they occasionaly show music video's, and I know they used to have a place online where you can view them. yesterday, I wanted to find a song that was used in one of the videos (It's a remake of an older song, and it's sung by four or five teenage boys in the video). I went searching, and after about an hour, came up with nothing. (And still have nothing, if anyone knows what I'm talking about, please tell me the song name!)
If I can find any other tangible errors on the website, I'll let you know.

Don't know if I've got the right one for you, but they've been playing Bowling For Soup's remake of Modern English's "Melt With You" from the Sky High soundtrack lately. So if the video is the Sky High themed one, there's your song. If not I'll keep an ear and an eye out.

I like the site. I really don't have a problem navagating. Ocasionally a link doesn't work, so I hit the "back" button and do something else.

And as Tigsmom stated "if you don't like it, why do you keep going back"?

i think it is so funny when some disney fanatics don't have anything to complain about(Eisner is gone) they will find just about anything to be angry about. Geesh....

I think the general point that is trying to be made is - The 'average' person visiting WDW's site is being presented incorrect information, which really isn't a good thing. I think it's safe to say that most people here know where to get more/better infomation, that's not the problem. I feel that the OP was trying to bring to light a problem that really shouldn't even be a problem, but someone's "asleep at the wheel", so to speak.

When it's one thing that's incorrect, that's easy to overlook. Nothing wrong with pointing out that there are numerous inaccuracies at the WDW website (even if some could be taken as nitpicky). ;)

The wrong menu information, or references to hand stamps (which they don't do anymore) are a problem, as that will cause confusion. However using images of rides from other parks, or outdated photos is just the way PR works. People aren't going to be confused once they are in the park, they will use the park maps. All park chains do it, and no one but fans/enthusists care.

Not all Disney fanitics complained about Eisner.

Also, I fail to see where all of this negative feedback is coming from. Merf is just trying to correct incorrect information. To use your words, "Geesh... "

I applaud Merf efforts.

If you search these forums , you will find that the official website has been a source of derision for awhile. It's about time that it was brought up to date.
