Disney World Trip In 1995

I know there's about a 1 in a million chance of someone having what I'm looking for, but I thought I'd try asking here anyway just in case.

I got to go to Disney World on a family vacation in 1995, and had a great time. I unfortunately don't have any pictures or video from our time at the parks.

I did save my World Hopper ticket though, so from the stamps on it I can see the dates I was at each park. Does anyone happen to have any pictures or video from the parks on the dates listed below? If so, are they posted on the internet for public viewing anywhere? I'd love the chance to see if I happened to be in the background in any of the pictures of videos.

Magic Kingdom - 8/23/95
MGM Studios - 8/27/95
Epcot - 8/30/95
Magic Kingdom - 8/31/95
Epcot - 9/1/95

First, let me say I sincerely hope you're successful in your quest. It's definitely going to be a challenge. Please believe me when I say that the following paragraph isn't to disparage you in any way, but your question got me thinking what are the odds... seriously. I found it to be a challenge to try and figure out just roundabout within a large margin for error what the chances would be.

The way I see it, the part I've quoted above is the biggest challenge, but let's start with the chances that someone on these boards was there on those specific days? I have no science behind my estimated odds, but just for fun... its probably worse than 1 in 100,000. Now add in whether that person(s) is actually still active on these boards these days, maybe another 1 in 1,000 because you have to take into account that we have plenty of people on these boards who are in their 30s or younger, but in '95 they wouldn't be taking pictures. Their parents would be. Then that part I quoted above about them capturing you in their photo at just the very moment as you walked past, I'm guessing that alone is 1 in 50,000,000. If my dumb math is correct, I'm gonna guess you have a 1 in 5 quadrillion chance of finding yourself in someone's photo or video. WHEW!

You could question my odds, but think about it. I could take a picture of the castle and you're really close to that area, but because I took the picture at 12:02:51PM and you walked passed at 12:02:59PM, even though I took a picture in an area you were in, I still just missed you by a few seconds. Not to mention the chances somebody took a picture that you were actually in the background and weren't obstructed by someone or something else. 😁

All that said, I really hope you do find a photo by one of our members that you see yourself in. That would be amazing! If that happens, you might want to buy a single ticket for Powerball and Mega Millions for that same evening using those dates as numbers to win. 😁

Good luck! If your dates had been early June I would have been able to help you out. My parents took me for my high school graduation present and I took a decent amount of pictures with my new zoom camera that I had purchased for the trip.

LOL, add (or multiply) to that the chances that the image can be accessed if it exists. Back then it was slides or photos or analog video tape. That 'stuff' may be in shoeboxes or cardboard boxes in attics, under beds, jammed into a shelf in the garage.

Ahhhh, see? This kind of luck proves my logic. There might be a few people on these boards that visited near that time frame, but the exact day? Yeah, pretty slim.

LOL! I thought of this too, but didn't want the odds to appear to be too remote. 🤣 If I assign a standard 1 in 10 chance that people who visited those days could actually find the paper photos? I think that brings the odds calculation to 1 in 50 quadrillion. I believe statistically, the OP has a better chance of becoming the richest man on earth and buying Disney. I can't prove that, but I truly believe it. Move over Elon. Hmmm, that makes me think of a new topic possibility I'm gonna post.

Yes all our trip photos from our earliest trips are in a variety of photo albums. I cant remember when I last went looking through the albums but they are treasured memories.

Not even day... split second. We are talking lottery odds if not worse.

I ended up digitizing everything, all the way back to the 1920's... old 8mm film, slides, photos, analog video, added to everything done digitally since... and have it all sorted and cross referenced, backed up locally and in the cloud. I was in the business, though. It's a great way to keep track of my life, as I'm getting older, so when the OP asked about August/September of 1995 it took about 20 seconds to look and see that we didn't go that year (the year my daughter was born July 1995, so that should have clued me in :))

Whoa! Wanna move into my house for a few months and sort out my photos from the 90s and early 2000s? 🤣 I've been swearing I'd scan all of old my photos one day........ one day. 😁 And then there's sorting through all of the 50 quadrillion digital photos I have since the mid 2000s. My current phone has a 400G card in it with photos I haven't sorted through at all, well, accept for the date taken. Problem is that's a terrible way to sort photos. 🤣

Yeah, it's a pain. I was using Picasa to keep things sorted locally (PC) by face and date. Lately I've been pretty impressed with Google Photos and the ability to search the archive by date, face, or even general description. I had photographed all the chemicals I use for the spa (to use as reference when getting a sample tested) and I just searched on 'bottles' and it found the image. Same with searching for my wife's name and "Hawaii". Pretty cool, really.

There are services (I was one such service) that'll scan all your stuff. It's just time, money, and an element of trust. :)

BTW, I still have a batch of images I scanned years ago that are archived but remain unsorted... so I also have a 'someday' waiting for me.

That's fantastic. In my calculation you're 1 in 10 people who would be so organized! 😁 Btw, that's a compliment in my mind!
Give my DW all the credit. She was the one who always got the updated camera and equipment for our trips and she was the photographer most of the times. Looking back I'm grateful she enjoyed doing it because if she hadnt I wouldnt have those photos to look back on.
