There is a Lounge in Wonders of Life that's not used unless a special event is going on...It use to have more of a Circus-Esqe theme to it..

There is a Chase Lounge during Food & Wine at the America Pavilion in the World Showcase. We just showed them our Disney Visa Card and went in for some AC and those cool soda machines that mix up your drinks.
This! Same thing for us, you take a elevator up and there is a neat soda machine
We had to sit on the floor though, no tables and chairs lol

These are called Coke Freestyle machines. They are in many fast food restaurants in the Atlanta area.
I am a huge Coke fan and would rather drink a 6 pack of coke then beer any day of the week but I think these Freestyle machines are the worst thing Coke has come up with ever. I'm not big on having a Root Beer or Power Aid after taste from my coke (that's after rinsing the nozzle with water).

I completely agree with you. Freestyle machines are not good for plain Coke!

Completely agree with you on the awesomeness of Coke!

Ok, I've tried to avoid WDW Magic since I got back from WDW in June for fear of getting depressed that my next trip isn't planned...but I happened in and saw this thread...great story to tell:

I got engaged at the Castle in March 1996 at King Stefan's. Cinderella comes out with the dessert tray...I grab the glass slipper off the tray that has the engagement ring inside...kneel down and propose...she says yes...hysteria ensues.

My brother was on the trip with us (though not at that dinner with us) and worked for MetLife. He knew the lady who worked in their lounge at the Wonders of Life pavilion and told her all about it.

We were married in June 1997 and had zero money. I was starting law school and my wife was paying for it by teaching elementary school. So my parents paid for us to go back to WDW and stay in a suite at the Wilderness Lodge. Which was amazing.

But my brother got the lady at the Wonders of Life pavilion to get us passes to ALLLL the corporate lounges around WDW. It was amazing! It was hot as Hades in June 97 and it was the anniversary of the park where they put up that God-forsaken cake crap around the castle. So we'd head to a corporate lounge somewhere..get a drink..cool off..and then jump ahead in line at whatever attraction was attached to the lounge. That was particularly cool at the FedEx lounge at Space Mountain. I wish we would have taken pictures I could share here now. Good memories, though!...thanks for reminding me with this thread.

And yes..still married to the same girl. Two kids and about 8 trips to WDW since. :)

Old thread but I was wondering how does one nowadays get access to the lounges? Such as test track? Passholders?

Most of the Epcot lounges have closed since sponsorship ended (SSE, Mission Space, The Seas, Wonders of Life.) The lounge in the Land is now offices and only DVC members can access the lounge in Imagination. The American Adventure lounge is becoming Club 33 in Epcot.

The Test Track Lounge is for GM employees and their families.

Wow, I didn't realize how old this thread is. I used the DVC Member lounge last month which was really nice. It is a good place to take a quick break and grab a snack. That lounge though, as most people know, was not that space's original intent but was the old Image Works.
