Disney World Jungle Cruise Boat Sinks - Create Your Own Joke!

Something like this should be a lot funnier given its Titanician event, but for some reason, it just seems more disturbing than anything. Disney should clearly be 100% safer than having Jungle Cruise boats literally sinking with guests clinging to it. This is simply unacceptable.
curious what actually happened, it’s only the second of these boats to take on water according to the reports. doubt well ever know.

I got the impression that the guy clinging, in the blue shirt, was like the maintenance guy or whatever trying to get a handle on the situation. Steer it over to the little island perhaps. I have a hard time believing it got to that, “every man for himself” stage where guests are clinging to the boat to survive. Lol I bet they made every one stay inside the boat as long as they could.

You know, when you watch the Twitter video again, you can key in and tell that there are some manager types in the water. I have been known from time to time to poke fun at the Dockers-clad managers of Disneyland with their droopy butts and jangling keys and dorky pin lanyards and badly ironed shirts and (I'll stop now).

But when you freeze the first second of this Twitter video below, it's obvious one of those managers and a maintenance man in a blue ballcap have placed themselves into the water to assist people clambering off the sunken boat and onto shore. Bravo WDW CM's! Josh Damaro needs to buy a dinner for these guys and their wives at Morton's Steakhouse, plus buy them new shoes and some replacement Dockers.

I can poke fun from the safety of my den, but there are some truly great CM's out there who will literally jump into yucky water to help when they need to. 🙂

“It’s Walt Disney Worlds newest upcharge event...a vip tour extravaganza...where you and your party not only get to experience the awe and wonder of the Jungle Cruise, but you also get a chance to experience the ‘new’ sinking adventure, where you and your crew get to experience what it’s like to be in a sinking boat! You’ll get the opportunity to get wet, wade through the actual channel that the Jungle Cruise boats ride in, and experience the rush of standing on the island on the other side of the dock! All for the amazing price of $199.95! Complimentary t-shirt or cupcake included in event.” (Daily admission ticket required.)
