Disney World & Disneyland

I love them both, but right now I'm kind of on a Disneyland trend. We are going back to WDW in June, so maybe I will change my tune then.

Disneyland is obviously the better park, but Magic Kingdom is more nostalgic to me since I grew visiting there.

I've only visited Disneyland three times, but those three times made a huge impression on me!

I have actually never been to Disneyland (It's on my bucket list, so don't attack me), so I guess I can only saw WDW, but I am aware (and in a way jealous) of DL's IASW, POTC, Carsland, ect.

I really just wanted to share others comparisons. I did enjoy DL. I did like touring the castle and having Peter Pan waiting outside to scare us. The characters freedom is cool. I miss that from WDW but they both are very unique and I guess they cant be fairly compared.

For me DL and DCA are better theme parks but WDW is a better overall vacation.

For rides:

Indy > Dinosaur
DL IASW > WDW IASW
DL Buzz > WDW Buzz
DL SM > WDW SM (much better at DL)
DL BTMR > WDW BTMR
DL POTC > WDW POTC
DL Fantasmic > WDW Fantasmic (much better at DL)
Grizzly > Kali
RSR > Test Track

The only exceptions I can think of off the top of my head are:
WDW ToT > DCA ToT
WDW Sp Mtn > DL Sp Mtn

Even though I prefer the rides at DLR I can't wait to go back to WDW again. WDW has unique rides like EE, Kilimanjaro, RnRC, etc that I can't wait to ride again but also has a better restaurant lineup, more nighttime spectaculars, affordable onsite hotels, boating, horseback riding, isolation, etc.

It's like trying to pick between kids.

I don't like Splash Mountain. Period. Not a get-wet ride person. Something about that funky old feet smelling water. It's just a no. Not even on a hot day when I'm sweating. Then I get to smell like sweat and funky old feet. Nope nope nope.

Just got back from Disneyland for the first time. I loved it & would go back before WDW. Haven't been on a WDW parks trip since 2011. Not considering going back. Have future trips planned thru the end of 2015 but nothing at WDW more than pre-cruise hotel stay split w/friends.
I love the way it smells, i go to a carwash just to be reminded of it!
