So this year will be my first time ever going to the parks with my FitBit! I was curious -- for those of you who have step trackers, about how many steps a day do you average in the parks? I'm hoping I'll have about 20,000 steps a day or more, but I'm wondering if that's just wishful thinking!

Not sure about steps, but my DW's Apple watch had us at 8 miles one day at MK during our last trip. For smaller parks like DHS and DAK, you could probably take a mile or two off of that total.

I have had a FitBit since 2012. I have the One, I think it's called. I clip it onto my waist band or the neckline of my sun dress. I would say I average 18-20K/day. Some days are lower, because it's a pool-intensive/water park day, or we will go out for dinner at a signature and then enjoy the pool afterwards. I also go off on my own a lot to walk around the different resorts. We usually stay around Crescent Lake, so we walk to two parks.

I have a little Fitbit zip and we averaged over 24,000 steps per day our last trip - seemed to be pretty accurate to me (and my poor, blister-footed husband). We do park hop every day and are pretty much on the go for 12-14 hours/day (with no kids).

My last trip in 2015 I averaged out to 20,306 steps per day. The highest peak was 28,223 at 14.8 miles walked (GPS tracked). The lowest was 12354 at 6.25 miles walked. The low was a break day were we just relaxed around the resort and didn't do much.

Nice!!! Thanks, everyone!!! :D Our trip is going to be jam packed from 7am - 11pm, so it sounds like I'll have no problem hitting 20,000!

I'm very active in my work day and have no problem meeting and surpassing my daily recommended 10,000 steps. When I was at Disney, I always went over 25,000 steps. Being up early, out late and on the move kept my weight down as well, even though I allowed myself to splurge on all that great Disney stuff thats around every corner. .

I have a pedometer in my cell phone. On my recent 4 day trip I did 18,952, 13,919, 23,320 and 15,348. So yeah, around 20k is realistic.

Park commando here, we averaged 9 miles a day this March. This was including not counting time in Blizzard Beach since Fitbit is not waterproof.

20K is definitely doable.
