Anyone know a website that you can download old and new disney world commercials? i tried to search online, but couldn't find any websites. Thanks!

yeah KaZaA can be very useful at times like this...I think that Disney is doing a great job promoting family vacations through their new 2003 commercials!

I have some other Disney commercials not on the Disney website. Come on over to IRC in #disney-central on the newnet IRC network. They are on Popkid's server. Here are the triggers to download them:

/ctcp popkid XDCC Send 2
(for Disneyland_commercial_HauntedHalloween_Holiday_FULL_(BCX).avi)

/ctcp popkid XDCC Send 3
(for hauntedmansionholiday_extended_small.avi)

You'll need the Mirc program to get on IRC. See the links in my signature for help connecting and setting the DCC options to allow the download. I try to get as many commercials as I 'accidently record' (they come on during Survivor when I am recording and can grab them then). Enjoy!

P.S. I'd love to get some old commercials from the 80s too.. if anyone sees any, lemme know. Thanks!

Not to sound mean or anything... but...
Ugh :hurl: ...the ftp was soooo much eaiser... and you did not have to jump thru hoops like this... :wave:

It's just a tiny hump of a learning curve to get the goodies, much like FTP is to a newbie. I think Popkid felt by removing the FTP access, he would make the site admin less liable for content linked directly to this site (don't want to get the head honcho Steve in trouble). You gotta consider alot of the content on Popkid's server isn't exactly legal copyright-wise. I'm sure Pop wanted to protect this site from any liability should 'the man' come knocking on the door.

I assure you, once you get the hang of using irc, it is a piece of cake. I'll be happy to assist anyone having difficulty with it.

I tried to do that, and I cant figure out the IRC network, I even tried the help guide. I was totally lost. FTP's are so easy, but I understand why it was moved.
