DIsney World 50th anniversary changes and overlays

The 50th is coming faster than I could ever imagine. It makes me wonder what we are going to see tothe existing sections of the park. It ots anything like the 25th there will be new music playing thruout thenparks and possibly changes to the new shows. Beat me over the head for this but I’d like to see the borthday cake castle come back. We all know where probably going to see some gold color schemes coming to the parks.

That castle never bothered me too much as I knew it wasn’t permanent, just a silly thing, but I cannot wait for the responses to this. Haha.

As for what we shall see, call be cynical but probably less than you’d expect. I’ll take some golden decorations though. And hope for some extra spirit (whatever that may be) around the holidays. My favorite campaign they ever did was Year of a Million Wishes and I’ll also hope for some special promotions/character appearances/ect in that vein.

My favorite campaign they ever did was Year of a Million Wishes

My favorite as well!!! I think that has been the best campaign they have done. We still talk about it and have our lanyards we were gifted with fast passes and our mickey ears we were gifted. Good times!

If it is anything like the recent hotel room upgrades it should be subtle.

The contests that they ran where you could spend a night in Cinderella Castle...they should convert one of the buildings at the fort on TSI to a room and have contests to spend a night on the island...I think I would like that opportunity as much as the castle.
