Ok I have recently moved a little further south from Tampa where I lived before. Disney was visit by my wife and I about 2-4 times a month. Now living further away and not with the wife anymore we can never find time to go!!! We recently found a day to go and it was so weird because it was like we didn't recognize things.
Now we are lucky if we get to go once every 2 months. This isn't cutting it. I THINK I AM LOSING MY MIND!!!!

I understand where you're coming from, but just be happy that you're going at least once every two months, where there are a lot of other people, including me, who only get to visit at least once a year, and even more.

Sorry about the withdrawal though! I know, it's very hard.

if you were going once a week I can see how you could be an addict with withdraws, but for the rest of us we have had time between trips so that we have not become addicted. I do sometimes feel empty when I get home from a trip. I think its the hotdog smell the pump out in the MK durring lunch.

I understand. I moved from Tampa up to NC. I had been going at least twice a month and then, suddenly, nothing. It was a definite shock to the system. I think I've been coping well, but if you ask my fiancee, I spend way to much time on here and planning our next trip.

Two months?!?! Try two years! Heck, try twelve years! :-D

Disney withdrawal for me has been a little lessened in recent years and months, thanks to web sites like this one and all the great Disney podcasts out there. I really have no idea how I went through so many years without a daily dose of Disney.

(Off-topic, does any one else find it funny that there have been so many similar threads where "withdrawal" has been misspelled "withdrawl"? Just me? Okay. )

What you need to do is buy things from Mouse Surplus and fill up your home with Disney Goodness.

Try watching a Disney planning DVD or one of those specials on the Travel Channel. I also put on my Disney cd's and look through all my photo albums of past trips.

I also think planning out the next trip helps get me through.

I DEFINITELY have Disney World withdrawal....we went EVERY year for five straight years, but because of one reason or another, we haven't been able to get back since September of 2004!!! And now it looks like our December trip may have to be pushed back!!! (dang...I just noticed that now I have to change my signature AGAIN!!!) :(
