Hi All
Looking into getting married at Disney, it is my favorite place to be.
Wedding date possible November 2008. Where do I begin?
Also, I'm 32 and by fiance is 42, are we too old to be doing a Disney wedding? Having second thoughts on our age(for the wedding and for Disney wedding).
I have tons of questions, do I call someone at Disney or can I do all this online?
Thanks in advance.

1) Welcome aboard

2) You're NEVER too old for Disney or a Disney Wedding

3) There's folk on here that have been married at WDW - I've no doubt they'll share their experiences. I would suggest contacting Disney in the first instance and let them talk you through the procedures.

In answer to your age question, you're never too old! It's your wedding, you should do what you want!

As far as everything else goes, I know there is information on the web and also several threads here if you do a search. I'd do it for you, but then you'd have to invite me! :p

First off...not to old!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Read my wedding story in the link in my signature....As you will see when you read I was 40 last December when we had our Magical Wedding.

You can have a Disney style wedding with Mickey etc., something more traditional and even very elegant. Our wedding was very unique and the resources that Disney has at its fingertips are almost unlimited. If you can dream it (And afford $ it!) they can do it. Disney is one of our favorite places and was the perfect place for us to pull off our Surprise Wedding, not to mention letting our families get to know each other in such a great atmosphere. Although unique because of the surprise our wedding was really what we described as simple elegance. With just small hints of Disney flair. (i.e fireworks, hidden mickeys in our cake, Cindys carriage, etc.)

First things you should start your first search at www.disneyweddings.com. Look at cost etc, Most importantly is once you decide yes this is the place, is to reserve a date asap.....keep in mind Disney averages about 3 weddings a day, so holding that special date is very important.

Also there are lots of great advice on this site as well as http://www.disboards.com/forumdisplay.php?f=55

There are also all kinds of other great site if you do a search on google. Just search :Disney weddings

Good luck! Feel free to ask any other questions.

We did a Vow Renewal for our 15th Anniversary in 2006 and it was beautiful, elegant, and fun...and we had characters as well. All of our guests of all ages had a great time and still talk about it! You are never too old for something like this and you can have whatever type of event suits you. Traditional, whimsical, or a mixture of both! Good luck and I say GO FOR IT!

You can contact Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings and there are lots of other good sites and boards out there for info as well. Disney's wedding dept. will send you information but it's fairly generic. If you already have a vision for your day you can tell them and based on the location you want...you can sometimes get started a year out. We had a theme park event at MGM Studios so we signed a contract one year out. Most venues outside of the parks are an 8 month contract time frame.

I can try and answer any questions you may have based on my experience with a Disney wedding. HTH!
