Fun fact....
There are many cameras around the parks, and not just for security. They have webcams aimed at prominent locations throughout the park, and they're viewed at the Disney Reservation Center in downtown Orlando. This serves a few purposes.
First, since the DRC call center rooms don't have windows, they have these large Flat Panel televisions all around the building to give them a glimpse of the outside, and it's a magical view at that.
Secondly, there are a lot of people (on the more naive side) who think the call center folks are actually at WDW...or even worse, that they're in the parks. When chatting, the guests will sometimes ask what the weather is like at WDW - so the agent can glance up at the screen and say, "It's bright and sunny at the Magic Kingdom, but a storm is rolling through Animal Kingdom right now."
Along with these monitors, they have world clocks and US time zone clocks hanging everywhere. This is especially helpful for the folks who sit in the UK/France cubicles
A bit off topic, but since we were talking about webcams, I just thought I'd share. I got to witness all this first hand back in March. Pretty cool.
