So i haven't been to a water park in at least 15 years mostly due to concerns about the cleanliness of the water and such. This upcoming trip to the World I have chosen the water park option and will be going for the first time, does anyone have any info on how clean or sanitary the water parks at Disney World are? Are they better than others, worse, whats different? and then just any tips for first timers. Many thanks!

Go every year and have never seen or experienced any problems there. I'm sure people wee in the water, but that's the same anywhere and there's chemicals in there to combat that I'm sure.

My tip is if you want a shaded area to base yourself in, be there before opening to score yourself a covered area when they open. My wife is very light skinned and burns easily so this is a must for her if we're to stay a good few hours which we usually do.

I know what you mean...
But, I think they put more than enough chemicals in that water to maintain cleanliness.

Just make sure to take a shower after :)

You people realise that in your lifetime there's a good chance you'll have ingested all sorts of disgusting things that have been put in your food deliberately whilst being manufactured or prepared in a kitchen, you'd probably freak if you knew

They're so much fun. Every other water park I've been to doesn't compare! :p Just bring flip flops! Ground can get hot and you could definitely wear water shoes in the water if you are concerned about something.
