Disney Water parks

I'm coming over from england on the 17th November and have notice on disneys web site that blizzzard beach closes for Refurbishment at the end of October, Does anyone know how long it stays closed for i know they'll keep typhoon lagoon open but i've been wanting to get my boyfriend on summit plummit.

Can't wait to come over again this will be my 3rd time bringing my mum to share the magic this time though.

It is usually a couple of months, but the exact reopen date hasnt been announced yet as far as I know. Stay tuned to the site, and the information will be here as soon as it is released.

The last two years we have gone to Disney the second week of December. I believe in both years, Blizzard Beach has reopened that week. That doesn't mean it would happen again this year, but it might at least give you an idea.

Usually during the off peak winter months there is only one water park open while the other gets a clean up.

I believe it was the Christmas season of 2002 when both Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon overlapped their openings for the super busy last week in December. I remember being able to go to TL when we first arrived the day after Christmas, and then we went to BB on New Years Eve morning.

The past 2 years that has never happened again, as one park is always closed, causing HUGE lines at the other during Christmas week.
