How about build a Disney classic park. They could rebuild all of the old attractions that have been closed and put them in one park for the people that want to see the Disney of yester year.

Is yester year one word or two? I am not sure on that one.

I think they would have to bring back Horizons and alot of the old park music, like the old entrance themes and such...for starters

ok, times change, things come and go, these things are gone. They should look toward the future, build the things people want, cough Thrills cough.

MK: put a ride in the 20K lagoon area, repaint Fantasyland and refurb Small World and Peter Pan. Add a ride or two to ToonTown and use DL as a guide.

-keep Carousel & TimeKeeper open all the time or put something NEW in their place. And move CoP to Epcot if you don't want to keep it in the MK.

-bring back the canoes to the Waters of America.

MGM: get a NEW Star Wars ride (simulators blow no matter what they are themed to), shut down the Backlot tour and put it's space and the Hunchback theatre to good use.

-if you have the Harry Potter license add an attraction (new age dark ride) to the park

Epcot: put back the original Journey(not happening though) & something new and worthwhile in Wonders of Life.

-update the second half of SSE (but keep the city at the end) & get a new sponser so there's no more "ATTENTION PLEASE"

-add a few rides to World Showcase (even if they are basic boat rides with a few AA). I would love to see little AA samuari's & ninjas in Japan, but that's another story.

AK: add the Lucky Dino AA with the show, put another major ride in (after Everest) and a few smaller ones (even if they are basic dark rides) to make it a true full day park.

The biggest things I would like to see changed is SSE. It could be more entertaining and informative with a little work. I would take out current ride vehicles and replace them with a setup like Figment/Imagination has right now.

I am for thrills too. But thats why I go to six flags. I like when Disney puts a new thrill ride in, but Walt's idea wasn't to make a thrill park. Disney World is about the classics too, and the characters. That's how it all started.
I think they shoudl stop changing things like
"Space Shuttle this is flight safety" and the little things like that. I looked foward to that, and now it's replaced with some boring recording. And I second some of the old music! A mix of old and new. It doesn't have to be one or the other.

There are two things, but they are interlinked. To achieve one you will need to have the other.

1) Return maintenance levels to where they should be.

2) Replace Eisner.

I agree with Heyyall, Disney should create a theme for just Thrill rides.

I don't believe that's what Heyyall was saying. It's just the opposite.

A theme for thrill rides? Um, ok? Thrill parks don't have themes. And if they do, they aren't as themed as a Disney Park. That's what makes WDW different from any other park and they pride themselves with it.

I am 2 hours from Cedar Point and they have the most rollercoasters of any park in the United States. But I'd rather go to WDW because it is themed better and you get more from it, reguardless of the trill rides.

WDW makes you feel good and thats what it's all about~

I'm not sure what the qualification for Disney Veteran is, but I've been some 36 times now. And I agree completely with Raven. Disney makes you feel good just being there. It's the ambience, the feeling you get when you walk onto Main Street. I get the same goosebumps every trip. January was my daughters' first trip. And I'll just say that was the proudest/happiest moment for me sincer her birth. Being able to share that with her is something I will never forget. And the pictures!!! Snapshots in time, that will last a lifetime. And you know what? I still love the classics. There's nothing wrong with progress, and we need that. That's what Epcot was mostly about in it's original concept.
Imagination, creation, progress, etc. etc. Always stretching the limits of the human mind and abilities.

There's no need for more thrill rides. Case in point: For all of the comments that I read on this site, most of you are still taking vacations there. So, that tells me they're doing something right.

I love rollercoasters as much as the next guy. But, I don't necessarily think you have to change every time the wind blows, to satisfy the minority. Kids today see all these movies with IMPOSSIBLE stunts, crashes, rides, etc. And their reality becomes that. Kids, I've gotta tell ya. They're just movies. The key isn't in providing more thrill rides, but in bringing back what made Disney into the giant that it has become. Providing a place where families can come together for a wonderful, unforgettable vacation. (i.e. get rid of the overpriced deluxe hotels- reduce their rates.) Make guest service and the guest experience your most important job each and every day. And the reason I digress to that point is to say that my opinion is that Mr. Eisner and those who support him seem to care about one thing. MONEY!!! Fact is, if you take good care of your guests, the money will come. And that starts with guest service. Get rid of your part-time policy!!!

It's a fact that a full time staff cares more about their work/company than do part time staff. There's more ownership
with full time staff, in the work they do each day. Not trying to start a debate here, just stating fact based on about 14 years of retail experience, some in mgmt., but most in sales. Until the "coach" of the team conveys that attitude to the team, the team has no chance in succeeding to its full potential.

Agree there. I still enjoy my Atari 5200. Can't stand some of the new super 3D games. Makes you more dizzy than M:S!
