Interesting. Quick googling says that a washing machine flow is 3-5 gallons per minute and that a shower is 1.5-3 gpm. This falls into category of things I wont understand as a lay person because the flow, rate differences over a minute don't seem bad, but really I have no idea.FWIW even if it was a choice I think it's at least defendable given the small size of the units compared to other one bedrooms.
