Disney Trivia

I heard on the radio this afternoon that WDW had topped 50 million visitors on this day in 1976. I thought that this might be wrong or was a total from both WDW and DL. Does anyone one know if this is right and how many people have been to WDW to date? 500 million? 1 billion? I am curious now. 293 to go!!!!!!

I would say that they are probably pushing 1 billion now, unless they already did. If they haven't, has Disney said which day it would probably fall on?

Well according to these figures they are averaging 33.3 million a year, roughly, so they would be just over 800 million right now, say 820-850 million. I would say with the promotion of the 50th they should be able to make 1 billion by mid to late 2007. We ought to start a betting pool for what date that will be. I hope they have something planned for that 1 billionth person.

That's about another 200 Million more so it seems as if they've seen about 800 million in guests now.

Now that I look at it, it's probably about 850 because of last year and what's gone of this year.
