Disney Transport Now Has Characters

I remember a few years ago that when we were on the ferry heading to MK, some of the characters were waterskiing along side of the ferry, waving to guests on the ferry.
I think that the little things like this (adding characters to ferry) would make a visit to WDW more enjoyable.

I remember seeing that when I was 5 while on the Monorail. I can't remember if it was Pluto or Goofy though.

Well, I'm all for it...seeing characters on the ferryboat, where there's a bit more room for maneuvering and mingling, is a great idea!

Yeah, I remember back in the day (I don't remember how old I was. Probably around 6 or 7) when riding the ferry, Goofy or Pinnochio would be water skiing! I thought that was the neatest things I'd ever seen! That was a great way for guests to be amused during the transportation. But a way to keep the character from causing scenes on the boat. They should do that again!

That's awesome! I hope I get to ride on a ferryboat when I go to Vero Beach in March, but there's not really any need for me too as I won't be staying at WDW.

A couple of years ago (2000 I think it was, though might have been 1999) we saw Tigger water skiing from the TTC to the MK side of the lake while we were taking the ferry.
I have it on video somewhere. Pluto was in the support boat as well.

this is the best thing i think Disney has done in quite a while, and i'm all for it! though, i hardly use the ferry or the monorail (really, i use the monorail more than the ferry...but usually to get from epcot to mk, or vise-versa) but i definately think it'll add to the magic! and as others have said, something so small and minute, but so special. THIS is how i remember Disney of my childhood...small details that make lasting impressions! may this spirit begin to reflourish throughout disney once again! :sohappy:
