I'll take the rest of Downtown Disney! I have to get to bed now, but I'll update tomorrow. (unless I don't have time before fleeing for New Hampshire)

Like from Disneyland Mid America...

I was wondering if there was any room for a Grand Chapiteau in Downtown Disney.

A Cirque du Soleil show would fit great around Houston. The people around there love Cirque. I should know; I just went see Varekai there, and it was sold out. I'm thinking about going again, but it might not happen because almost all of their performances are selling out.

Ummmm? What exactly is Grand Chapiteau?

YES! A Cirque du Soleil show was in the original plans! Do you want to do it?

Grand Chapiteau means "big tent" in French. It is where a Cirque show is performed.

Yes, I would love too.

I'd like to propose to everyone involved with the Disney Texas Resort project to have a special "surprise" in all the additions of in the resort a sort of speaical "show" that encompassses all the elements of the resort, what do you guys think?

I'll help with the countries.

wdwswan&dolphin- There is a lake in front of DisneySea and Hotel MiraCosta. No need for use of the Downtown Disney Marina, especially as they're not located near each other. Other than that, I think it is amazing. I love it. But a food court/snack bar is missing. What is the pool called?

Sounds great! As the resort expands in the future, though, this "show" will change, n'est-ce pas?

La Latteria (Italian for "The Coffee Bar") is also a counter-service restaurant (think of "The Coffee Beanery" at the Hershey Lodge and Hotel Hershey.) I haven't decided what to call the swimming pool complex; let's give it some time unless you have some ideas.

Ah, I see.... Remember, the pool can't be huge, like Stormalong Bay huge, due to the small space.

Wowwww.... Page 2 already....

I don't know yet, i was hoping for something like "Fantasmic meets Illuminations meets (a functioning)Light Magic" sort of "the ultimate Disney nighttime spectacular". somehting that can be presented at all the parks in different styles but is still one show.

Oh, I get it... That would be so cool, except for Light Magic. That was a nightmare. Maybe something more along the lines of SpectroMagic or Fantillusion?
