Y'all are old fuddyduddies. This is cool and the only problem with it are the hideous outfits they insist on testing talking characters in.

Because you're a recovering furry?I agree that it's cool, I'm just afraid of them. Haha
Because you're a recovering furry?
How does this work? Who is doing the talking and where?
Next time you meet Darth Vader or Kylo Ren, as them a random question and see what happens. It's prerecorded!? So you can't ask them a random question?
Actually Talking Mickey used to be much more interactive with guests at least back during it's first testing days in 2010 as seen in this video. It's prerecorded!? So you can't ask them a random question?
I really like it. It's far far more natural than static faces that can't talk. How as children did we ever believe these characters were real?
What on earth was Minnie talking about seeing a pack of wild lions for anyway?
I didn't get that either. The guy walks up, they all say hi, and a split second later Minnie launches into this random story about seeing a "majestic pack of wild lions!". Uh, cool story Minnie, but can we just try and drag the spotlight off of you for one second?![]()
Looking back at it. Minnie's 'voice' thought that the videographer was going to continue to engage her, and so she launched into a story about "going on a safari the other day", but, that intro got lost as the videographer started to talk to Donald and Donald's 'voice' reacted to the videographer talking over Minnie. So, once Donald stoppedtalkinggasping for breath, we were left suddenly in the middle of Minnie's spiel about lions roaring.
So, it seems that each character has their own vocalist choosing the routines and they, just like real people, can talk over each other. But, unlike real people, once a spiel is launched, it doesn't stop when it realizes it isn't being paid attention to.
