Disney Stores Closing

I just hope that not all of the stores will be closed... some of the stores are very accessible for the buyers near them...

Tow of the three stores I used to work at in the philliadelphia area closed (Willow Grove & Exton), but others remain open - KP, lehigh, Montgomery & Springfield too I think. King of Prussia is the 2nd largest mall in the US and the TDS there is one of the older stores (meaning, it's been in that mall since 1990 or something, although it moved locations in 1999) so that one remains open.

Most of the TDS are trying to absorb those CMs from stores that closed.

What is the current information on the re-acquisition of the Disney Stores? Has it happened yet? Any more details on Disney's plans with them?

Hey Paul, I haven't seen you in a while. Unfortunately, the Virginia Center store closed mid June. I was in there every couple of days from the first of May till the closing. They kept adding new stuff and lowering prices. It was good for catching deals, but it was sad to watch the store slowly wither away. I had several friends that woked there, it was very sad to for them too.

The only stores remaining near us are in Lynnhaven Mall and Potomac Mills. Neither is convenient, but hopefully they'll reconsider and open one out at Short Pump. At one time they were considering moving the Virginia Center store to Short Pump.
