Disney Stores Closing in your area?

If I remember correctly Disney was closing low performing stores, regrouping and looking to sell them all off to someone else. We have 2 close to us and they are still open, but don't seem to have as much merchandise as they did before.

Well, originally there were 8 Disney Stores in my general vicinity...

1. Copley Place (Boston)
2. Fanueil Hall (Boston)
3. Natick Mall (Natick)
4. Silver City Galleria (Taunton)
5. South Shore Plaza (Braintree)
6. Emerald Square Mall (Attleboro)
7. Providence Place Mall (Providence)
8. Independence Mall (Kingston)

3 of those have closed...(and I'm sure more on the way)

I actually hope the one near me closes. Ever since they changed the line the store has become so trashy, it makes me sad everytime I see it.

The Disney Store where I used to be a Cast Member at West Farms Mall in Farmington CT closed... but when I was in there the manager told me that they are refurbishing to reopen somewhere around Labor Day. The Disney Store in Meriden is the other store near me... and they are still open... but there is nothing that interests me in the store anymore... :(

The merchandise in my local store is really lacking. What I mean to say is, most of the stuff they have are marketed towards very young kids, and nothing for the older disney fan. I mean, where are the tigger costumes for older people??

:hammer:
