I was wondering if anyone has worked for the Disney Store? I have an interview on Thursday for an Assistant Manager in the Boston area. I was wondering if anybody had a clue on what I could make? Because I need to move there if I got the job and survive too.

Good luck. I applied for a District Manager position with DS a month ago.

I did not get a "Dear John" letter as of yet so still having hopes.

I worked for the stores as a Cast Member and Hourly Lead on and off from 03-08 (so Disney and Children's Place). I don't know what you will make as an ASM, but it won't be a terrible wage. My managers never seemed to complain in our central jersey location.

Doubtful. They closed nearly 100 stores when they bought the chain back. The Disney store was created to be a destination shopping experience, not just another store. They over saturated themselves, and by doing so, started to hurt financially from it.

You are correct. Dave Fielding said he wants to keep the stores down to focus on being unique.
