I am going to WDW in just over a month and was just wondering if anyone had any tips on things they pack specifically for their Disney vacation?

If you have a little princess going to the Bibbidy Bobbidy Boutique...shower caps! In December, my daughter's hair (DD was 5) stayed in for 4 1/2 days. None of which she would bathe bc it would "mess up her hair!" Next trip (January) I packing shower caps. Although she will be a year older..she has a little more attitude!

We always bring our own sheets and pillowcases. We are DVC members and keeping those flat sheets on all week long is impossible. Plus- I'd rather sleep on my own sheets.

Plus- it never hurts to have an extra memory card for your camera. They are sooooo expensive on property.

Another nice thing to pack is a cheap plastic, over-the-door shoe holder. You can generally find these in the dollar store and they come in handy in the bathroom. Keeps your toiletries off the sink and organized. Hangs easily in the closet.

OMG- What a great idea! My MIL hates to clutter the counters- but I hate putting everything away every day! This is a fantastic idea, DivineMadness7! You rock!

- Zip-Loc (or whatever brand you like) bags

I end up getting pins, buttons, and other assorted smallish doo-dads and rather than have them float around the suitcase or have to tie them in the bag they came in, a zip-loc bag works well

- Alocsacks. These are waterproof zip-loc bags. They are designed to be immersed to some depth, I forget how much, but its deep. If we go to a water park or swimming, I stick my cell phone / keys / cash in them. Never had a leak.

Thats about the only things I take every time. Well I guess a camera, but thats nothing special. I guess I (and my kids) are lucky, as we have no need/use for mister fans, lotion, band-aids, body glide, snack, or other things, so we rarely pack them. We do pack pool noodles quite a bit. They coil around the inside of a suitcase.

I used to pack extra light, and bring two loosley packed cases, so I could use the space for purchases. Now with airlines charging extra, I may go another route.

Wire hangers.

We find we cannot fit all of our clothes in the drawers and on the few hangers that come with the room. So, we pack a bunch of cheap laundromat hangers to hang our shirts on. When we go home, we leave the hangers behind so we have more room in our suitcases for souvenirs.

Wow, this is a great idea! May use that tip in October, thanks!

I can't take credit for it, I read it on a website (probably this one.) Even if you decide to pitch it at the end of the trip, it only cost $1. I try not to since I hate waste, but if you really need the extra room in a suitcase it would work. Glad I could help!

Hmmm I may have to look for these. Have you had a leak with a ziploc bag before that you prefer these? I guess I've always had good luck. If these aren't crazy expensive I may consider them.
