To all those using "selfie-sticks", if you really want to see what you look like that bad, there is this thing called a mirror. You can stare at yourself all day long since you find it so interesting.

But put down the selfie-stick (shouldn't they be called vanity sticks?). You're not so important that we need your picture riding a roller coaster.

Solution: any idiot caught with a selfie stick will have to spend the rest of the day in the Cone of Shame.

Back in April, I think I saw about a dozen people with Vanity Sticks in WDW. I even saw one coming out while on Big Thunder after the first climb a few seats ahead of me. I hollered to put it away.... and he immediately tucked it way. Thankfully the ride didn't stop.

We just got back. Those sticks are ridiculous! No one pays any attention to anyone while using them. They bump into you, and they block everyone's view of the castle and anything else you might be trying to get to or take a picture of! They stop in the middle of the major pathways and it's just annoying! Thankfully no one was using them on the rides!
