quick tip number 2004

Make sure you never carry your purchases after buying it anywhere on disney properties..... They will send it back to your Disney resort for free and usually arrives before you get back from whatever park your at. All you have to do is ask. Saves it from being broken, dropped or hassle of carrying it on the bus with small kids.

Keep in mind - the only day that you can't use this service is the day before you leave. They will not guarantee the arrival of your items to the hotel before checkout the next day from either the parks or Downtown Disney.

We use this service all the time and it works like a charm.

We like it, I miss it when they would deliver it to your room for free. Last year at OKW we had a package at the front desk for 3 days. We were so far from the front of the resort and it was always raining, some places it is more convenent then others.


You can also have your package sent to the front of the park to be picked up when you leave. This sometimes has a line at the end of the day.

Another tip is when you see something way to be to bring home with you, chances are you can ship it for not that much. We got the big toy castle last year. The CM even took off the cost of Tax since we were from Michigan and it almost paid for the shipping (around 10$) If you buy it near the start of your trip, it will get home around the same time you do.

Yes, it's a shame they don't deliver directly to your room anymore.

An extra tip for those lucky enough to live in a sales tax-free state... We live in Oregon which doesn't have a sales tax so when there's something that is very big or very expensive (Or both ) we have them ship to Oregon and that way we don't have to pay sales tax. It does take a bit more time to fill out all of the paperwork so I wouldn't recommend doing it for a $20 stuffed animal or anything but when you are purchasing a WDCC piece or something like that it is well worth the extra time!
