Disney Rewards credit card

We have the premier version that gives 2% on gas, restaurants, and groceries. We use it for everything and pay it off every month. We've earned over $800 in the last couple of years. we'll be using the rewards for our next trip in 2016. It should at least cover the hotel expenses.

Add in the discount and it's a no brainer. we just have to make sure we pay it off every month.

Isn't it great! Just for using your card for everyday purchases, your hotel stay is free. Will make that stay even better!

I literally make a payment the day anything posts. I have the Chase CC app on my phone to stay up to the date on charges, as well as login daily. No penalty for paying early :)

Does anyone know if you have a Disney Credit card and want to switch to the premier card, and you've spent the 500, will you still get the 200 dollar gift card??

I have one, but, have never used it for anything other then when I was in a Disney Park. I have never gotten a discount because of it, the rewards add up a lot slower then most other FREE cards. I only use it there because it's cool to hand them one with a bunch of pictures of Disney Characters on it. I probably put an average of $35.00 a year on it, just to keep it active. Not all that impressed really.

I use the my main card (not Disney) for all my purchases and then use the proceeds for anything I feel like, not to be redeemed for something Disney.

Yea I am not big into CC's but we pay for everything on my Chase Disney card and pay it off monthly so the rewards rack up quickly this allows us to pay for our DVC dues with the money we get from the Chase card. So for us it's a win win situation.

The benefits are great for the card. While I would use a 'cashback' card to get better rewards, taking this card on a disney trip is a must. The 10% discount is a big help, but I like the extra benefits that come with it. We used it this last trip for the private M&G at EPCOT. I do mean private. We were the only ones there. No line, and we had Mickey and friends all to ourselves for as long as we wanted. The kids loved it. The character spot wait was 65 minutes. When we went to Disneyland a few years back we got a free pin set (8 in set if I remember). The card has a lot of benefits.

My advice is to avoid it. The benefits are superficial. Think about it. They give you 1% or 2% if you get the better one. Take your budget and assume it is $100, take out 3 $1 bills and put them into a jar. You just made more than what the card offers if you can stay within that $97 remaining spending limit.

I have saved over $400 alone in Disney Rewards since July 2016 for our upcoming trip. The card has paid for itself, and this is only the basic version.

Agree, there are so many cards out there offering better rewards (including cash back) that you can use toward a Disney trip, or anything else.

I have the Chase Sapphire Reserve and get 3% on any restaurants and any travel. I also get 1% on everything else, but I have a Freedom Card that gets 5% in bonus categories and a Chase Unlimited that gives 1.5% cash back on anything.

Restaurants and Travel = 3% Sapphire Reserve
Bonus Categories (Gas, groceries, retail, vary by quarter) = 5% Freedom
Everything else = 1.5% Freedom Unlimited

Those cant be converted to cash, but the more valuable way to convert them is to miles. I flew to Tokyo for 35,000 miles round trip (this is normally a $2,000 ticket. Adds up quick.

I've had one for a few years. I put every bill I can on it and then pay it off. I have earned a few thousand dollars and I use it for my credits on DCL. The character interaction at Epcot was great. My daughters loved it.
