Disney resort transportation question

If I am not mistaken the busses stop running from parks to resorts an hour after park close, is this right?

I am asking because I have an 8:30pm ADR at Ohana and I am staying at CSR. The MK closes at 9 that night does that mean I have to hurry thru dinner and make sure I am back at the bus terminal outside the magic kingdom with plenty of time to spare? If not how do we get back to our resort if the busses are no longer running?

Please help we leave in about 20 days and would really like to not worry about this.

I would not rush dinner and I would take a cab. Should not cost more than $15 with tip. Or another option would be to get a bus to Downtown then back to your resort.

Buses run from the parks to resorts for about 2 hours after close. However, you may not be able to get from the Poly back to MK, depends on what is running when you are done. Your best bet will probably be to take a cab, or transfer at DtD.

Take a cab. We tried to take a bus to DtD after 'Ohana and the line was very long, obviously many others having the same idea. After not being able to board the first bus, we took a cab. Much faster and a lot more quiet.

I would suggest a cab. Its much quicker and doesn't cost much at all. We had to take a cab from the Yacht Club to Pop Century last week and only cost us $13 but saved us about an hour and didn't have to work about transfering buses and having to stand with our toddler on a crowded bus after all day in the parks.

You are at the Poly and the TTC is at the rear of the property (a short walk) so maybe you can catch a bus there back to your resort? I'm not an expert since we use our own car when we stay out late, but as others have said a taxi is reasonable. I would check with the desk at your resort upon check in and see what they have to say. Have a fun trip and say Hi! to Tigger for me :wave:
