Disney resort or hotel on Disney property?

What is the major difference between lets say POP Century or a hotel on disney grounds that still runs a shuttle?

Other than the Hilton none of the other hotels on hotel plaza dr. offer EMH's. Not sure if Swan or Dolphin do. But none offer charging privileges or package delivery to your room.Staying in Disney owned hotels you also get free parking at theme parks(in case your driving). And I'm sure there are others.Plus the big intangible- the Disney atmosphere!

I also think you can make dining reservations farther out. Same with golf tee times.

Also, those shuttles don't run as often as disney's buses. And, yes, you can make dining ressie's further out. Free transportation on Magical Express to/from the airport if you're flying.

The benefits would include Extra Magic Hours (Except for Hilton and Swan and Dolphin) Disney's Magical Express, room charging, Disney Dining Plan, considerably better transportation, ability to book up to 10 days worth of dining at 180 days out, resort package delivery, and free parking at the parks (several of the non-Disney resorts actually charge you to park at their resort as well).
