Just got an email for a point chart for 2009 bookings at Contemporary's Bay Lake Towers. The point values are average, larger rooms are more points than other places. Good variety, though.

Standard View is as low as 12pts for Adventure Season and 17pts for MK view, to 882 points for a week in Magic Season for a Grand Villa and 1065 points for the same with a MK view. And to think that I have a lot of points...not even close!

I know there is the view of the MK and I would love that, but just to compare: a 1 bedroom in July with Savanna view at AKLV is 268 points, and a 1 bedroom at the same time viewing the Magic Kingdom in 360. That seems like a big difference, especially if I get the one bedroom on the second floor and have a great view of Space Mountain and some trees...Don't get me wrong, I want to stay there some day, but 92 points more than looking out at the private savanna seems steep...

It seems like a lot more to me too.

The points have changed too. The point chart that is in the "book" that was sent out has been updated. I have the new point chart at home. Maybe I can post it tonight

I was thinking of buying into BLT, but when I saw the point chart and the $112 a point price tag (and the room mock ups) it sort of soured it for me. I may just get some more SSR points, or pick up a contract on the secondary market.

I agree. I really wanted some points here. I was dreaming of a Grand Villa Magic Kingdom view once every couple of years. But that's a crazy number of points!!!.

Yes, but it's certainly worth it to me!

I'm sure it is! :) If I had as many points as you, Mike, it would be more worth it. But with only 225 points, that's like giving up a trip.

But I am sure Disney will have no problem selling points or keeping this place booked.:)
