im not sure if this is the right place to put this but i couldnt find anywhere else so i just put it here. anyways, i have a question for someone who visits disneyquest often or is visiting soon, or for anyone who just may happen to know. in one of the arcades they have the game dance dance revolution, i love that game but on my last visit it was broken, the connector fromt he pads to the game was practicly torn off, and im going up again this weekend and i wanted to know if they have either fixed that or got a new machine or what, i hope they didnt just get rid of it though, it seems like they had a ton of those stepmax or whatever games and only 1 ddr so im hoping they didnt get rid of it, thanks sorry if this is in the wrong place

They had 2 dance games up today when I was there, though I didn't pay attention to their names because I'm not into them.

Let me additionally comment on the sad state of DQ itself, though. I was there literally 45 minutes. Half of the arcade games were broke, lines for the decent things were ginormous, the cast were bored and sparse ... just sad, really.

DDR...huh I havnt seen any around(except the disney version they had in Innovations). Only PIU!(pump it up!).

IMHO I think that PIU is WAY better than DDR will ever be. DDR is too easy. Ive noticed that its hard for DDR players to play PIU because they cant get use to the center step but PIU players can easily master both even on their first game of DDR. Ooops sorry I noticed that all I just did was get off the subject and possibly start a debate. SORRY!

Anywho, All Ive ever seen in Disney Quest is PIU (3 machines was it?) and Ive Seen only PIU in Resorts too.

Were you talking about DDR or PIU? I know ALOT of people get em confused so maybe if I know which one you were talking about I could help.

im talking about ddr, i hate piu because i learned ddr a few years ago before i ever even heard of piu and im just so used to ddr and i love it, but anyways, that would stink if they took it out of disneyquest, seems like piu is becoming pretty popular

PIU was always popular. Mostly in Japan but there are WAY more PIU machines in FL than DDR. Here in Maine though DDR is more known than PIU. I waited 6 years for PIU to come to the US and 4 years for the Console Version to come here as well. I personally love PIU for their arcade machines as I think that they but more work and thought into them and there are more machine editions than DDR. BUT I do love DDR more for their "at-home" console versions because they put more work into updating and adding new games where PIU only has one game and it is impossible to buy a second mat w/o buying a whole new game. They both have their strong points.

Uh oh. Im sorry Im getting off the subject again.

As for DDR in Disney Quest I highly doubt that disney will put it back in because Disney doesn't start conflicts with competing companies. They only put 1 of each kind of product in the "world" and won't put in a competitor. Its like selling Pepsi and Coke products in the same park. Or selling Mc D's Fries at one cart and BK's Fries at another...It just doesn't happen.

Think of it this way...Disney is getting more money from PIU than DDR for a simple reason...Many people know DDR so when they see PIU its new to them and they want to try it out. They get on the machine and they lose.

DDR(regular players)- one credit=3-4 games if you play good
PIU(newbies)- one credit= 1 game if they lose(which for newbies is common)

So more quick games they go through the more money they will get cause more people have an opertunity to play.

Im sorry for the bad news about DDR not being on property anymore...I personally would like to see some myself as I do like playing it also(not as much as PIU but I do think its a nice change).

Sadly though, the SM one is no longer the Disney Mix. :(

Actually I had a cross-u shift there today and it was infact there (at Space Mountain), however they have moved it. It is to the rear of the arcade, just to the right of Daytona. It is working just fine, I watched a few frontline CMs facilitate some "dance-off" magical moments.
