I just posted part 1 of a 3 part series coming on Disney Pub Crawls. Part 1 includes the usual Epcot "Around the World" crawl as well as a monorail crawl and a boardwalk area crawl.

I have a bunch more coming up in the next 2 parts of the article on Wednesday and Thursday including non-alcoholic crawls.

I am wondering if you guys have any kind of unique Disney crawls that you do that you wouldn't mind being included on the blog? I would love to get a great list posted for everyone to see.

Well, I guess the next obvious one would be a DTD crawl. Pretty much every restaurant has a bar area, and there are a couple outdoor carts as well.

I like the monorail crawl. I have not done it yet, but hope to on this next trip.

A lot of great places to drink in DTD, plus it is open later.

I am moving to Central Florida in March, my wife and I will most def. be doing the monorail crawl....thanks for this idea, great blog!

Thanks! Let us all know how it goes if you try it. I wanted to do it in January, but my wife was tired so we just stayed in the Poly.

we put a twist on doing the kim possible thing at epcot so that each time we had to go do something at a different country we drank as we went. that left an unknown element to the questions of where to go next.

we've also done a snack around the world when we went with young teens since it's not great form to do a real pub crawl with you 14 y/o daughter and 12 y/o niece...but it's been fun doing the real thing since they've grown up lol.

love the idea of doing the boardwalk area to include the resorts.

i guess you could do a bus hop and hit the lounges at different resorts...pick a random number and just jump on that disney bus for whatever resort it takes you to.

Yep done these! Sounds alot like my Adult Night Pub Crawl ideas I posted a few months ago.

Heres 4 thoughts:

1) The Boardwalk comes to mind! Start there, make an ADR at one of the great restaurants located at any of the Epcot resorts, later have a drink at a lounge (may I suggest blue zoo @ the Dolphin its dim lit and romanticly hip) then party the night away at JellyRolls or dance you tail off at the Atlantic Dance Hall. Then finish the night at any of the bars or other lounges surrounding Cresent Lake

2) If DTD is more your thing do what I just did back in January, have dinner at the Turf Club then take a short walk around the lake over to the Marketplace and have desert at Goofy's Candy Co. (any lakeside seat will do for enjoying your treats liked the huge chocolate covered strawberries), shop a little around the stores in the Marketplace, then take a trip over to Fuego (Pleasure Island) for a few drinks then wander around and see what other entertainment is availible on Pleasure Island and the Westside. (if the Turf Club doesnt strike your fancy consider any of the many other dining locals in DTD)

3) Have dinner at AKL (I'm a fan of all but for a date night consider Sanna) or CSR (Maya Grill is wonderful) then have a drink at either Victoria Falls (AKL Oh and don't for get to check out the animals) or Laguna bar (CSR consider relaxing in a hamock around Lago Dorado) then either way head to Rix Lounge @ CSR for dancing and partying till the wee hours.

4) Do you like fireworks and favor the Magic Kingdom? well then start at one of the monorail resorts for dinner then by using the variety of transportation options Monorail, Ferry, Boat, and Feet (especially between Poly and GFR) have drinks at any of the many lounges at Cont, GFR, Poly, and at some point head over to one of the beaches and check out the fireworks at MK and wait around for the Water Paegant on Seven Seas lagoon and Bay lake. (Don't forget you can take a boat back and forth between WL and any of the monorail resorts)

Thanks for the thoughts guys. Love the Kim Possible spin.

Just posted part 2 with some more great pub crawls. Part 3 will be tomorrow for the light drinkers and non-drinkers.

Vey cool blog! I also agree with the comment on The Wave at The Contemporary, they serve one of the best Mojitos I have had on property. Another fun detour for the Monorail crawl is a boat over to Fort Wilderness for Crocket's Tavern, gotta love a beverage take out window. :)

That does it, I am adding a stop at the Wave on my next trip. I haven't checked out Crocket's yet. I will add that to my list as well.

with the crawl between the moderates you can (for example) go from pofq walk over (or vice versa) to por then hit the boat or bus to dtd and transfer there to any other resort.

The Wave has a very cool hip loungey vibe to it. Crocket's is neat because there is a big wrap around porch and big wooden rocking chairs to enjoy your beverage in.

There are 3 or 4 ideas already here that I am going to put on the blog in a part 4 (and credit the ones with the ideas of course) but want to know if you guys have a few more.

what about stopping for the closest drink every time you see a hidden mickey???? just a thought, haven't put it into practice so i don't know how do-able it is.

well that just depends on how good you are at finding hidden mickeys :animwink: and if you want to make it a game maybe when one person finds the hidden mickey everyone else has to take a shot? or maybe everyone takes drinks or does a shot of what the finder of the hidden mickey picks?

...spoiler alert -> if you want to pick what you're drinking get one of those hidden mickey guide books and study it like you've never studied in your life before you go :king: then you'll be king of the game!
