I know this is kind of off the police subject, and I appologize, but where can I find more information on the armed services pins or memorabilia? Thanks so much.

Regarding the Disney Security Force, I was talking to a guard on my last trip and he told me that most of their force have police experience. He was recruiting me to join when I retired. I told him I'll see him 20 years.

55mph in a 50mph zone is ridiculous. My personal rule is get pulled over for 12 over and see what happens or if your 15 or above without a valid reasona nd you get a ticket. I work over night and my job is to mess with gang members and other villains (Disney humor) not with people trying to get home or to work. There are jerks in every profession. Its a shame that happens on disney property. I'll get off mey soap box now.

It's ok... I'm gonna try to plea bargain. See if I can get it reduced to faulty equipment and pay the $5 to the court after having the speedometer inspected by a mechanic... or have it dropped altogether if he can't present proof of calibration.

MKT, Disney Security, starting this year, every Security CM went through training to be licensed by the state of FL. As of January, they must have their license to continue to work for the security dept, no matter where, office or field work.

SGT, there is a new Mickey plush that is a policeman. It is not the Security Mickey plush, but an actual Police officer, blue uniform with badge and hat. The hat has an NYPD type badge if I remember right, that lights up with a red LED. Saw it at Epcot last night at American Adventure.

I did notice that the security department obtained a training license earlier this year. I'll tag along next time my uncle is dragged to Sector 6... see if he'll do any license checks like he does ocassionally in area hotels.
