Disney Police Souvenirs

I need help. I am looking for disney themed police souvenirs. I am a police sgt in illinois and on my last trip I asked a castmember why everything is about fireman. I was told it was thanking them for the work they did during the fires in California. I replied, I guess there isn't any crime in California:lol: . She got a big laugh out of it.

Uhm I know in WDW and WOD NYC they carry police mickey plushes

If you can find something on ebay The WOD in NYC also had way more city/police stuff than the parks

I know they have the firehouse and they have the firepersons badge there (Kids Version?, might have my sons name on it?). I bought one last year for my son. They had other items in the store, but this is all I remember directly.

If you collect Disney pins, you may want to approach one of the Disney security officers and identify yourself. I think the Disney securities may have pins of their own to either give you or trade. I know I got one from one of the Disney officers when he found out that I collect pins. He gave me a pin he said he only gives to other police officers, even though I am not one (maybe I had a poor, pathetic look on my face when he showed me his exclusive pin, and he took pity on me).

My brother in law is a police officer here in KY. Every time we go to WDW we run into the same situation. We are still looking for a pin with a police officer shaking Mickey's hand. They have these for Firefighters and all of the armed services but none for the police. I'm always told that they do not make them. We have traded patches with several police officers from several neighboring depts. around WDW though.

Yep. My dad is a Lt. with the local PD. Everytime I look for something police themed for him, all I can find is that stupid pin.

I know at the World of Disney at Downtown Disney they sell pins with Mickey dressed as a policeman. My neighbor who is a policeman bought 1 for my daughter back in March

We are still looking for a pin with a police officer shaking Mickey's hand. They have these for Firefighters and all of the armed services but none for the police.

Perhaps Walt was arrested and vowed never to "recognise" the police service :lol:

On the other hand I would love to find something police related within Disney. I know that we are very seldom welcomed or praised for doing a demanding job and a police souvenir from WDW would be brilliant

It's in reference to Disney Security not being a real police department. Their guards are also not licensed by the State of Florida as private security guards.

My dad is a retired police officer... so every time I see a Mickey Police somethingorother I always grab it... so far I've bought him a Mickey Police Officer Pin (they do exsist and are EVERYWHERE! I notice it every time I'm there!) and a Mickey beany dressed as a police officer. (I actually got that one from Disneyland... but I'm pretty sure I've seen them at WDW, too.)

My uncle with the OCSO is a badge collector and has current and past WDW (and Disneyland, and TDR, and DLRP.. soon HKDL hopefully) security badges in his collection :zipit:

He also has one of the Security ID cards in his collection as well

Yeah I've never seen those either but I wish they would make them. I'd be cute.
