Disney planning a new Western Beltway Property

This is principally about timeshares. Celebration residents were notified of this development in October.

Jose.

p.s. someone was mentioning Gooding's success in Celebration? Town gossip intimates their small store never did very well and closed down after they opened the 192/Celebration Ave store. That by the way shut down after only a few months. Miss their sushi.

At this point you are not going to gain more people by offering a lower price - most of the people who are staying off property at this point are doing it for a better value.

You just contradicted yourself. Many times when I head to Disney for just a weekend trip I don't have the money to spend on even the value resorts. I often will just grab a Motel 6 or something since I'll just be staying there for a night or two and not spending any time at the Motel. It's not as much fun as staying onsite, but it works and its cheap. If Disney offers a hotel on property with property transport in that price range then I'll be staying onsite even for those weekend trips, which means I'll be eating onsite and doing everything there instead of driving up and down International Drive like I do now.

Anything new at wdw is GREAT!!!! but I just wish that we could fix, update, and maintain what we currently have (and properly staff it) before we start building more stuff. I am all about keeping wdw up-to-date; but we have to start with what we currently have. I am sure that I am talking about something that belongs in a differnent forum, but this topic just really got to me.

Just another reason to know you can't do ALL of Disney in a 2 week period. I only wish I could afford 3 weeks in the happy place;)

Somehow I don't think it's going to happen, last I checked it was just a bunch of sand being moved around and nothing more than that.
