News Disney Park Pass System announced for Walt Disney World theme park reservations

This is no officially worse then getting a DL Star Wars reservation last summer, I got that after 20 minutes of trying to log on

Once you successfully log in AND see the toolbar above, click on the MDE icon on the far right to open up the drop down. Park Reservation option should be there. From there - who knows? No one has been successful yet.

FInally got in, but when I went to the park reservation tab, it just took me to the old information page, and then crashed.

Same...now the castle again!

It looks like it's auto refreshing and I did finally get to the login page but that didn't work so I back at the castle

Right. I got that far, but it looked no different than yesterday's screen.

Why did they think letting a years worth of people log on at once would work? They should have grouped it by vacation dates or something.

It told me my password was wrong twice. It’s the same one saved on my computer that I always use. Now the stupid pink castle again. LOL.

This is the exact reason why they should not have let everyone book at the same time. It should have been capped at 30 days until reservation or 60.

The "IT dept" shouldn't be blamed on this either - there's really no reason people need to be in the system right now for their next trip MONTHS from now.

It’s so frustrating. I can get the park reservation information page to load, but I can’t login. I’m getting really sick of this castle. Is this a waiting room situation? It implies that by asking you not to refresh, but it doesn’t say that...

Theres a refresh timer on the page. Your session is queued with everyone else trying to get in.

Everyone should eventually be okay. This was all to be expected. Tens of thousands with multiple browsers and tabs...

I'm not convinced the system is actually live yet though. I feel like Disney would say something, at least acknowledge it through Twitter as open?
