Disney Park Hopper Plus Option Question

Please forgive this "rookie" question, lol, but I am confused about these types of tickets.

For example, if I buy a 10 day ticket, and purchase the park hopper plus option, can I go to the parks for 10 days, and go to the water parks in ADDITION to this?

Or does that mean, I can go 9 days to the parks, and 1 day to a water park?

I just want it cleared up in my head before I buy anything

That is correct, you have 10 park days PLUS 10 visits to either water parks, putt putt, ect.

Theme parks days are not tied to water park admissions, other than the entire ticket expires 14 days from first use, however that first use occurs (theme park or water park)
