Is there anything out there that I could either buy at a store or order online that is like a Disney World park game for my computer? Is there a game out there in which I could build my own disney park or something? If there is one like that, i would love to buy it. Is there anything like that? If there is, please tell! Thanks,
-Mark-

I think i saw something like that the other day at EB(Electronic Boutique) and it was something like buliding you own theme park. I think it is called themepark tycoon NOT rollercoaster tycoon.... hope that helps.

There's also a game where you can build your own roller coaster throughout the parks. I've seen it for $20 at Target. It looks pretty cool. Thinking of buying it myself.

I am a big fan of these "tycoon" and sim games. Roller Coaster tycoon is one of the best ones. Disney does have a coaster PC game but it is nothing like what one would hope. Not really that good of a game. The good thing about Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 is that you can create rides very similar to those in the park. Check out the member photo albums. A lot of talented folks created rides that look like Splash Mtn, etc. and it pretty accurate.

Good luck.

Disney Ultimate RollerCoaster

The only Disney theme park game for the PC that I know of is called Ultimate Disney RollerCoaster. I bought it just last month. You can't really build your own Disney theme park, but you design your own coaster to put IN a Disney theme park setting...like Main Street USA, Frontierland, Tomorrowland, Toontown Fair, and Space Grid (indoor) I believe those are all of them. It's a pretty cool game...you can add props to put around your coaster...like the teacups, Spaceship Earth, Cinderella Castle, Mainstreet buildings...etc.

Hope this helps!

I think Roller Coaster Tycoon is definately the best one out there, it seems more realistic than the others. It would be totally awesome if they came out with a WDW version of RCT like they did with Six Flags (Ew! Six Flags! :hurl: )

Unfortunatly RCT is all 6 flags. A lot of the RCT "gaming community" was pretty unhappy when "2" came out because it didn't have a ton of improvements.

The only other hope with SimTheme park and that one looks pretty crappy. Maybe Disney will come up with something better down the road.

I've attempted to create my own virtual version of WDW, but it turned out to be too big of a task.

At the point that I stopped, I had part of the Poly, the main building of the Contemp, a simple version of Cindy's castle, and part of the Seven Seas Lagoon all modelled.

I still think about the project daily, and I'm always downloading pictures that I can use as a reference. If I discover some way to get the project rolling again, I definately will.

The hard part with RCT2 is when you make a building (and need to tear it down) it takes a while to clear it out. Good luck man. If you need some help let me know, I am always up for a challenge! Ha ha.

Did you try the scenery clearer (the bulldozer) you can delete large areas of scenery at once.

There is one game that was on Playstation and Dreamcast, that may have been on PC too. It's called "Walt Disney World Quest: Magical Racing Tour". It's basically a 'Mario-kart' type game in which you (playing as Chip, Dale, Jimminy Cricket and a host of new characters) search Disney World via go-kart for the pieces to the magical fireworks machine. There is a ton of real park music too. Some of the tracks include Space Mountain, Splash Mount, Test Track, Jungle Cruise, Rock n' Roller Coaster and Dinosaur. It's a pretty fun game, if you can find a copy.

Not really a DisneyWorld game, but you may find a kind of virtual park like DigitalDisney is trying to make for Flight Simulator. I have not played FS for several years, but I remember way back you could download free scenery that people were making of just about any famous place on earth.

I specifically remember finding some scenery files of disneyworld on some FS user web sites and one was pretty good for the time. It had most of the magic kingdon and epcot, including the monorail line.

I'd think today, you could find very detailed scenery models of disney world which may include dynamic scenes.

Anyone else know more about this?

I know people working on virtual Walt Disney World... a giant project that will be a computer simulation of Walt Disney World, from the monorail ride to the background music as you walk through the Polynesian. It will be awesome... if it's ever completed.

I think I didn't explain myself well enough

My project is separate from Rollercoaster Tycoon or any other existing game. All of my code and graphics etc was made from scratch

Here's an image from my program

Keep in mind that nothing was close to being finished, but it was in a state that it looked pretty darned good.

Fireworks

In Innoventions in Disneyland, they have a screen setup where you can create your own Fireworks Show.

Has anyone ever seen a PC program that would allow you to do this?
