Disney Paint

Not sure which forum to put this question in, but does anyone know if and where I can find Disney Paint. About 6 years ago I painted my house with the paint, using the color Eeyore. I have the can but it is empty. I found an online site that appears to sell some, but it is a different id number than what I have for Eeyore. Looking for either a retail store or other online source.

Thank you for the quick response!!! Yes, that is the online site I saw but the paint numbers are different than the eeyore I have. I have 4A-20-2 and their's is 3A-30-2. But if they are the only game in town, I will order a sample and see how close it is. Mostly I will need it for touch ups and I want to move around pictures on the wall, so for filling in holes.

Disney did away with that a few years ago though. WalMart carried it for a while, but they no longer have it either.

If you still have the can and lid, just take it to any decent paint store,. They can do a colour sampling from the old paint and tint the same base paint (eg: latex, eggshell or flat or semi gloss, etc) to match. As long as it's a good quality paint, and the same type, it doesn't have to be the same brand.

Yes, Home Depot, Lowe's and any other quality paint store will be able to match the paint...hopefully you still have the lid? That would be the easiest...a few months ago, there was a thread somewhere on here about Disney paint...from what I can remember, PPG is the official supplier of paint for the parks. PPG is available at the Depot...try their website.

I fell in love with one of the Disney colors a few years ago and was hoping our local Walmart could make it; however, our store never got enough product in stock to make any of the colors. So, I took my paint chip to Lowes and Home Depot to compare. Home Depot had a chip that was a really close match, but they also worked from the Disney chip that I had gotten from Walmart to make a perfect match. They've even been able to match things up from samples I've taken off of walls.

The gizmo they use for colour matching is very good. I took a piece of downspout and they were able to give me both an exterior paint and a solid stain that exactly matched it , for use on our house trim and fence.

Speaking of Go Away Green paint. Does anyone know the mix or number, brand. I need to hide somethings in our landscaping and that green is perfect.
The Disney paint is made (or so I've been told) by PPG...their paint is sold in the Depot...there is a thread somewhere on these boards about the paint used at WDW...don't remember where I saw it.

If the OP has the can lid, and the paint was bought at Home Depot - which is likely if it was from the Disney branded line of paint colors, then the sticker on the lid actually has the "recipe" right on it. The tint base to use, and the amount of each colorant to add.

But if they don't have that sticker, as you said, the optical color match system does a great job.

Home Depot had a hard time with those Mickey Head shaped paint chip samples. People used to go in and lake loads of them for crafts and decorations.

Yeah. Lime green Mickey ears zip tied to park bags were a thing for a while with followers of a certain website. I still have one.
