Antoine posted a message about Travel Channel doing a WDW special. Seems like there was a lot of positive comments.

In the newsgroups, there is a group called
rec.arts.disney.parks

One person in there posts 2 weeks worth of upcoming Disney stuff. I repost his stuff (Paul if youerad this, you are awesome) as a public service. If you find this helpful, let me know and I will post when he does.

A. Shows About Disney Theme Parks and Resorts

Friday, March 21, 3;00 p.m., Travel Channel: "Family Vacation In Orlando."
Attractions in Orlando, FL, include Walt Disney World, Sea World, the Magic
Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Universal Studios, and Cypress Gardens. (Poster's
note: This program contains only a couple of minutes of footage of the Walt
Disney World Resort. There has been some
negative feedback on rec.arts.disney.parks about the lack of Disney footage
in this program.)

Sunday, March 23, 11:00 a.m., Travel Channel: "Inside Disneyland Paris." A
look behind the scenes at the rides,
shows and characters of Disney's first European theme park, including a look
at headliner attractions such as "Space
Mountain", "Honey, I Shrunk the Audience" and "Indiana Jones and the Temple
of Peril."

p.m., Travel Channel: "Walt
Disney World Resort: Behind the Scenes." Explore the history and the inner
workings of the Florida Disney theme
parks in an in-depth, behind the scenes tour of America's favorite vacation
destination.

a.m., Travel Channel: "Disney's
Animal Kingdom." A visit behind the scenes of Walt Disney World's fourth and
newest theme park. Learn about the challenges of combining thrill rides and

& Beach Club." Host Samantha
Brown takes us on a tour of Walt Disney World's seaside-themed resorts and
nearby attractions, such as Disney's Boardwalk and Epcot's World Showcase.

Thanks for the info! I've already programmed my Tivo.

BTW - Travel Channel ran a 'Best Hotels in Florida' segment last week, and two WDW hotels were named and shown. I forget which ones, tho. Senility will do that to you. ;)

If you have Discovery Channel, you ought to have Travel Channel. Discovery Channel, Travel Channel, TLC, Animal Planet, etc. are all part of the same network. Check out their listings here !
You can generally search for the shows you're looking for.

Thanks for the info RU42! :D

Thanks for the 'thank you's' from everyone. I will post this data every 2 weeks or whenever Paul makes his post. I live by his posts. I just wish Vault Disney would come back with the great park shows.

Discovery Science channel changed their name to the Science Channel. And before, when I had cable, we had Discovery but not Travel.

Sigh. These are all just repeats. They've shown before. The Paris one is kinda out dated and premiered 2 years ago. I'm not sure if I have the science channel, because I havn't seen the one that they are showing.
