Disney on tv thread

Did they add bits and pieces to this show or was my TV provider wrong on the debute date?

They add bits and pieces to it over time as new things come out. It sucks. I wish they'd do an all brand new one. :brick:

I thought I had read that new segments were being filmed for the Travel Channel shows

That's the problem. Once you've seen it then you've seen it. If they add a small bit here and there then it doesn't make it a new show. It just makes it annoying trying to discern the new elements from the recycled ones.

Worth recording for the complete collector of Disney Park video. Interesting, but not essential viewing.)

If it makes you feel better, they aren't so great. And they are horribly out of date.

Having said that, I did a happy dance yesterday because Dish Network has a free preview of Destination America this month and I was able to re-DVR some shows I had lost the last time my DVR went down. Now hopefully they will work something out with AMC.

So far, they are all pretty out of date. I watched Disney World: Behind the Scenes for a few minutes last night and it still listed Toon Town as a land in the Magic Kingdom!

Yes, I think all of these shows are available on YouTube. They are also on Netflix and they were packaged into a pretty cheap DVD set a couple years back. They are very easy to find, but there's not a lot of reason to do so.

Modern Marvels: Walt Disney World is worth watching if you have never seen it before. The rest, it's fun to see the footage but the shows are pretty worthless.
