Well first of all let me say I'm sorry for not being on wdwmagic quite as much, I've been soooo busy it's crazy. Anyways I'm back & ready to ask some questions!

My boyfriend got me Disney On Ice tickets (going this Saturday-Seeing Princess Classics!) for Valentines Day:sohappy:

Have any of you ever been to a Disney on Ice show? If so, how was it? Which one(s) did you see? Does it give you that in-the-park magical effect?

Any additional info is appreciated!

Wow I haven't been to a Disney On Ice in AGES...but I do remember seeing Aladdin on Ice, Beauty and the Beast On Ice, and some other Disney one.

I remember liking it though :D

I'm jealous - I was just looking at that today - they're not coming anywhere close to us... Have fun! You'll have to tell us about it! :)

I haven't seen the Princess Classics one, bit I saw Mickey & Minnie's Magical Journey 2 years ago, which was very good. And then I saw the 100 Years of Magic show last year, which was so amazing that I went a second time. The music, costumes and skating quality are just excellent. The only thing that's annoying is the overpriced souvenirs and snacks... $14 sno-cones, $20 cotton candy ?!?!

Nemo

I saw nemo on ice last year. I had never been to one of those shows. we bought the tickets for my son (yeah right) He kept seeing the previews on the tv. It was awesome!!! The costumes were great, the music...just everything . I would definately go see something else if it came close by.
I wanted to see the princess one, but hubbie would not go

HAVE FUN !!!!

Don't buy the sno-cones, they are horrible!!

We saw Princess Classics in December, and it was great. There are few pics in my WDW magic album.

My daughter, my wife, me, and even the grandparents liked it.

I used to see Disney On Ice every year. We always got a special invite that let us call earlier for tickets than the general public. When we saw the Aladdin show we sat in the front row, practically on the ice (this was at the Meadowlands in NJ). The skaters interacted with us and it was just amazing. I don't know how we ended up with those seats.

My little cousin and my aunt just saw the Nemo show. I think they liked it.

I am planning on going to the Princess show in early March. I can't wait. It is something Disney that I can look forward to. I just got back from WDW about a week ago. I already miss it sooo much!!

My comment is a bit biased as my son skates in Mickey and Minnie's Magical Journey which is currently touring Europe. We have been to his show 3 times now and will be going again next week when we visit him in Spain (it will be interesting to view it in Spanish). I always enjoy the show, even my 16 year old son, who I dragged to the show one year said he thought it was very good!

I have heard the other shows are also good. I have to agree with a previous comment re the prices of food and souvenirs, they are high, however you only do this maybe once a year or once every couple of years and the kids love it, so it is worth it.

For anyone who is going to an upcoming show, Enjoy!
