I will be the bad guy here....
If Mom's birthday means anything, I would not have cheaped out and allocated $1000. I would put off the 3 week Italy trip and spent the money needed for Mom. I would have realized a year ago I wanted to do something for Mom's 100th and saved up for it and made it something special.. instead you are looking at staying off site and driving by WDW.
