Has anybody else done a Disney themed nursery for their baby? I think we have gone a tad overboard:) We did the Baby Disney Lion King set and then had a friend who is an artist paint murals on the walls. We even have a stuffed animal version of each painting. She did an incredible job though. You can check out the pics I took at http://mywebpages.comcast.net/jacksontw1/index.htm . Sorry about the poor quality. My digital camera was have a hard time with being so close to the light and walls. Feel free to roam through disney world 2000 pics as well.

Yup, Rafiki was a requirement:) Thanks for the comments.....I'll keep you posted for when there is a live human in the crib  I also plan to keep adding my WDW vacation pictures and videos. I've just had very limited time to work on it while building the nursery! (ugh, I hate plaster!)

Incredibly cute! And I have to admit, it gave me TONS of ideas... I just hope I can find someone who can paint as beautifully as your friend in the future.

Well we ended up doing my daughter room in classic Winnie the Pooh, but I must admit, we didnt need to buy too much stuff. We had so much around the house we just moved it all in there. I also had an artistic friend paint pooh and friends on the dresser, but the walls are just sage green. I will take a picture later and post it but she is sleeping now and don't want to distrub her.

Your room is great. I hope you baby grows up to like the lion king!!

It is beautiful.... corporate lawyers will be contacting you in the very near future....How much white paint do you own?????
I don't think that they bother individuals BUT they did threaten a local nursery school that had MM and DD painted on the side of the bldg..... cool stuff!

Oh crap:eek: I didn't even think of that:D They will have to bulldoze my house before I paint over that! In fact, this kid is moving to another bedroom and we plan to reuse the room as a nursery.:) She spent sooooo much time and hard work painting that I couldn't even think of painting over it. Hopefully we are cool since we aren't really advertising it and I'm not selling the artist as a "disney artist". Anyways, I know you are joking but now I'm being paranoid:lol: . Thanks for the positive comments and I'll be sure to update the thread after the baby arrives!

I just finished ours a couple of weeks ago. We did a Disney light blue color, and border of "baby mickey & minnie". Also have a Mickey rocking chair and table from the Disney catalog. Now all we need is the baby, not due til October.
