Disney now licensing fruit in Europe

I think that's actually kind of fun! I'd buy Disney fruit to collect the stickers  (as long as it's not that much more to buy Disney fruit)
Hey! How come we don't get Mickey burgers here?

I'm wondering how much they jack up the price just because they stuck a Mickey sticker on the banana. I'm happy with the Chiquita sticker.

I don't often go to Tesco, but will need to see what the mark up is. But if it makes kids eat fruit I guess it's not a bad idea. Unless they just peel the sticker off then throw the fruit away

The price probably won't be jacked up any more than Donald Duck orange juice or Peter Pan peanut butter (yes, that was originally a Disney tie-in) were.

Sure there will be a mark-up, but if a kid see's Dory on a apple next to a non-Dory apple we all know what will happen. Also it's just really happy to see Disney actually doing something about children eating junk food.

While I think the idea of getting kids to eat more fruit is great, I have a problem with them now being involved in selling fruit. It's bad enough there is cereal and other snacks, what's next meat. I can see the fighting in the supermarket now with the kids in not buying disney fruit because it is more expensive.

First off, I love Tesco, secondly, I wonder what's stopping little kids (or anyone from that matter) from picking the stickers off the fruit while shopping. I can remember "collecting" my fair share of Chiquita stickers when I was a kid!
