So what Disney Movies get you psyched about WDW? Since I'm going back in Oct, I like watching Lion King 1 1/2, Finding Nemo & PoTC: Curse of the Black Pearl.

They aren't really movies, but every time I watch update videos, I have the urge to ride Splash Mountain, ToT, etc. It just enables me to easly picture myself there at any given moment.

I watch the old school videos they sold in the parks. Today I watched "A Day in the Magic Kingdom" circa 91-92. Its hilarious seeing how much things have changed.

Watching the older cartoons of the Disney characters. They get me in the WDW mood. Also watching my vacation video or watching the planning dvd from WDW.

My Vacation Planning Videos & DVD's (all of the VHS's have been burned to a DVD), and anything that involves WDW, mainly old TV specials.

I love all Disney movies (to different degrees) but the one that reminds me of WDW most is definately The Lion King.

It reminds me of the whole of Animal Kingdom, even more so particular parts of it, like Festival Of The Lion King, Rafiki's Planet Watch.

Oh, and the song Can You Feel The Love Tonight takes me back to the the bus stop area at All Star Music. This is because, during my first trip (1999) we were waiting for a bus, and yes, that song came over the speakers. Ever since, it has reminded of that.

well having little ones (well even if we didn't)...we are always watching some kind of disney movie...my little one loves watching the disney sing alongs...everymorn its the same thing.."mama...gooky??" (that's her version of saying goofy!)...and then we start with disneyworld beach party, followed by campout at disneyworld..then we wrap it up with disneyland fun...yes its quite funny beacuse i don''t know who enjoys it more , me or my 1 1/2 year old...

I watch the Planning Videos and my best friend's little girl I used to babysit had that Disneyland Fun sing-a-long video [which I bought a copy of ] as well. POTC is high on my DVD rotation so I watch it about every 3 days anyway.

I love to watch just about all the WDW-related shows on the Travel Channel. Also, they occassionally slip one on Food Network or Discovery Channel. I get a real kick out of seeing the places we've been or the things we did. I always want to go back and do it again after watching one of those shows.

As for the actual Disney movies, none of them really makes me nostalgic for the parks. But we stayed at AKL on our last visit, so the Lion King probably reminds me of WDW the most. I heard that soundtrack everywhere we went for over a week. And frankly, by the time we left, I'd have paid $100 to never hear "Hakuna Matata" again for the rest of my life.

I'm okay with it now though :)

For me it's got to be the vacation planning videos, I know that they are the same every year and almost always show the same stuff they never fail to get me ready for a new trip

We own practically every animated Disney movie ever to come out on DVD so we usually spend entire weekends where we camp out in front of the TV for Disney movie marathons to get in the mood for our next trip. I think Beauty and the Beast and Pirates of the Carribean are my favorites. We also spend all our Saturday mornings watching our Disney Treasures DVD collection of all the old Mickey, Goofy and Donald cartoons. Those classics can't be beat. Then there's the planning videos and our own personal home movie collection of trips past. I'm so lucky to be married to a man who's as much of a kid as I am. People who've seen our collection of Disney movies (no we don't have kids) think we're nuts.
